Her talent for space planning and proficiency in AutoCAD helps bridge the gap between architecture and interior design making her a perfect compliment to the CMID design team. Collaboration between the interior designer, architect, and contractor is an essential part of creating and completing a project to its fullest potential. Kayce’s dedication to that collaborative process makes her stand out in this industry.
Kayce continues to advance her knowledge in the field by attending lectures and continuing education courses through the Denver Design Center and the ASID association. Kayce passed the National Council Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam in the fall of 2010 and plans to pursue LEED certification in the near future.
In the spring of 2010 Kayce won the ASID Crystal Award of Emerging Designer for her work on a Manor Vail Penthouse. This project was featured in the Vail Daily and noted in Colorado Homes and Lifestyles Magazine.
Having been born in Colorado and a frequent visitor for years, Kayce developed a love for the Colorado lifestyle. The opportunity to work under Carol Moore brought her to the Vail Valley to stay in 2006. Outside the office she enjoys embracing that sought after lifestyle by skiing and fly-fishing.
